I am proud to say that home buyers and sellers of Moore County have been putting their trust in me with their real estate needs for over 23 years.

If someone would have asked me as a child how I saw my career path playing out, I would have pictured something far different from the one I’ve taken. The one thing, however, that I always knew was that I wanted to be helping people. Growing up in a small rural town outside of Cooperstown, NY, I was taught the importance of hard work and smart financial decisions early on. Today, I still recognize the value of this and that when it comes to buying a home, people want sound advice from someone genuine that they can trust.

I graduated from Virginia Tech in 1987 and moved to Hilton Head Island SC to focus on a career as a golf professional. Soon after, I felt I wanted to help people in a different capacity so headed to the University of South Carolina to pursue a Master’s in the healthcare field. Here I met my wife and shortly thereafter we found ourselves in this quaint little village called Pinehurst.  Although we both landed great jobs I found that it was real estate that excited me so I began fixing and flipping houses.  It didn’t take long for me to realize that my heart was more in real estate than healthcare, so my new career began.

Fast forward some 26 years, I’m a full time broker and buyers agent with The Gentry Team.  It’s an honor and privilege to work with such a successful real estate team and one of the top in the country!  We are an experienced group that works together with integrity and a common goal of developing lasting relationships with our clients.

My wife and I have 3 beautiful daughters and our life here in Pinehurst has been a true blessing. Our family loves spending time together and when we’re not on a soccer field somewhere, we’re usually loading up the boat and heading to the lake for some fun in the sun!
