David Sinclair joined the Gentry Team at ReMax Prime Properties of Pinehurst after a nearly 37-year career in print and broadcast media in Moore County.

As the marketing coordinator, I create individual webpages for each of our listings on the Gentry Team website. We employ a variety of social and print media adverting to promote both our listings as well as the Gentry Team. In addition to overseeing the team’s marketing efforts, I am also responsible for photographing homes and property and creating virtual tours of each home.

Before joining the Gentry Team, I was the managing editor of The Pilot newspaper in Southern Pines, where I won numerous awards from the N.C. Press Association for writing and photography. I began my career in August 1983 as news and public affairs director and morning show host for WIOZ-FM radio in Southern Pines. I made the switch to newspapers in 1993 serving as a staff writer for The Fayetteville Observer, covering Moore and Lee counties.

I am a  graduate of Pinecrest High School and Sandhills Community College. I am proud of my involvement in the community. I currently serve on the board of Family Promise of Moore County, which provides housing and support services for homeless women and their children, as well as the committee for the Miss Moore County-Miss Sandhills Scholarship Organization.

Past service includes the boards of the United Way of Moore (which also included serving as publicity chair for the annual fundraising campaign), Friend to Friend and the Sandhills Food Bank. I am a 2008 graduate of the Moore County Leadership Institute through the Moore County Chamber of Commerce.
